Trying to sew a shirt for me

Key word here "trying". I was so excited it was coming together nicely. But then I am not sure where it went wrong. Measure, Measure, Measure, cut. It was huge. I dont understand. I looked pregnant. Anyway, I am not out a ton. I used an old shower curtain to make it. I will try to see what I can do with it.
