I just finished reading this book out loud to the kids. I have read another book by Kate DiCamillo and loved it so gave this a try. It was fabulous. Although the author make no claims of her faith this was a beautiful story that clearly illustrates God's Love. I am so glad I read this to the kids. It was very thought provoking for them as well as for me. I highly recommend it for adults and children alike. I bought it at Wal-Mart for under 5 dollars and it was money very well spent. It will have a permanant home on the Pedersen bookcase. If you haven't read it then please do.
